District Nursing Team

nurse_care_at_homeThe attached District Nursing Team assess and provide nursing care to patients in their own home. They provide advice, support and care for a variety of conditions and work in close liaison with the practice team and other support agencies.

Health Visiting Team

The health visiting team offers support and health advice to families with babies and children under 5 years on topics such as breastfeeding, postnatal depression, child development and information on local groups. They assess the needs of the elderly who are housebound and are able to refer to other agencies as appropriate. They also offer lifestyle advice on smoking, exercise and healthy eating.

Community Link Worker

The link worker can support patient’s in linking them with activities and resources in the community including: benefit advice, housing advice, physical activity, mental well being, carers advice, volunteering and employability.

Renfrewshire Bereavement Network are a free bereavement support service to anyone within the Renfrewshire area.
